World Cup Fever - well kind of

This is about as excitied as you are gonna get me about the World Cup. I entered the work's sweepstake in the hope I may win some dosh and showed my support for my team - the USA (how ironic!) by proudly displaying my flat in the office! Wonder how long they will last before catching a plane home????

Making a new dish

Ok so maybe cheesecake isn't the most difficult desert to make from scratch, but I was making it for Darren's BBQ so it had to be good. This is the practise run for the "American chocolate swirl cheesecake". I found this was the easiest way to soften up the mountain of cream cheese required for the dish ...

It was great - and it was all devoured before I remembered to take a finished photo!!! Take my word for it, it was mighty fine!
