Impressive Sandcastles

A taste Ancient Egypt reached the shores of Brighton beach in the form of impressive sand sculptures. The exhibition is running at Black Rock next to the Marina. It is fantastically intricate and with some rather tongue in cheek details and some are exceptionally eerie and un-nerving. Worth seeing, but a little on the expensive side for entrance at £6.

Rhubarb Rhubarb

You know when you are sitting at work with very little to do and somehow the conversation gets around to "Is rhubarb a vegetable or fruit?" and then it gets googled and you learn lots of things you never knew about rhubarb. Well today is one of those days! However we did find an excellent rhubarb website which includes recipies, photos and even rhubard lymerics! What more could you possible need from a tuesday afternoon?

Backside Drivers

Why do people insist on driving right up your backside? I had a real case of it this morning. Driving through Hassocks towards the A23 I was driving at the speed limit and the guy behind in a 4x4 insisted on sitting on my rear bumper. I mean if he had been any closer I could have given him a piggy back. Then to make matters worse he put his headlights on and as he was directly behind me they literally dazzled my rear view mirror so I couldn’t see anything.

Eventually he got the message that no matter how far up my a*** he sat I was not going to go any faster and so dropped back to a more sensible distance. What really made me question his driving was when we reached the A23 he trundled along at around 50 miles an hour, so he was obviously not in a hurry to get anywhere so WHY insist on being that close to me on the country roads?????

I hate that, inconsiderate drivers, particularly on a Monday morning – there really is no need for it. I personally think people should be banned from driving 4x4 Land Rover type affairs unless they can prove that it has been used off road at least once in its entire driving life time and not just used to drop Little Johnny off at school or to annoy other drivers on a Monday morning.

Grrrrrrr – rant over!

Twisted Logic

Went to see Coldplay with their Twisted Logic tour in Bolton! Bloody long way to go but well worth it. Was a fantatic concert. It absolutely p****d it down on us, but we were right at the front which made the soggyness, aching feet and near death by road rage very worth while! They also filmed the video to their new single "Fix You" so soon will be mega famous and appearing on MTV every day!!! Watch this space!

G-R-8

The Live8 concert yesterday was fantastic - wish that I could have been there. I watched it from begnning to end. Lets just hope the world has made a big enough statement to be listened to by the all important 8.

Panic Over

Found my missing bra. Phew! It had fallen behind my drawer. Stupid place to hide if you ask me!
