Here's one i made earlier ...

It is hard to believe that out of this mess a beautiful loaf of bread is made. Not by me of course but by my new lovely bread maker. They are brilliant if not a little dull. They don't really do much whilst the bread is baking - no fireworks or anything!

Anyway, forgot to take a pic of the finished produce - was too busy eating it! Needless to say it was yummy and looked a lot better than the mullicking mess (as my Nan would have called it) that it seemed to be at the beginning!

Happy Birthday Lelie!

Wow can't quite beieve my little sis turned 18 today. She still seems like a little girlie to me!! I remember when my Mum first told me that I was going to have a brother or sister - I was so excited - to not be an only child was all I really ever wanted. I also remember the first time I held her in the hospital and all the fun, and tears, we have shared together. Ah well, growing up I guess. Happy Birthday Lellie!

Sunday was the Indian wedding ceremony for Uncle Paul and Asha.

I hate being sick ...

I really, really hate being sick. At the moment I am convalescing at home because my nasty cough and cold means that im not welcome in the office. I feel like a leper! And I have to get better by the weekend because I have my Uncles Western/Indian wedding to attend. I hate it when you are not quite ill enough to be confined to bed, but ill enough to be off of work, and to top it all it is brilliantly sunny outside.

Grrrrrrr - there is only so much day time TV you can watch and its only 10 am.

I opened my curtains this morning and this cheeky little chappie was sitting on the steps looking at me. I think he was a little surprised when the curtain opened - he was so scared he turned to stone. After being here for nearly a year he still wont make friends; he always runs away.

Chilled wine anyone???

Sometimes wine can be too chilled. We were having an evening in at Emma's and in amongst the game of Triv and dinner we forgot about the other bottles of wine we had chilling in the freezer. They exploded a whole lot!

New Job!!!

Hoorah I now have a new job. I am now a System/Indexing Supervisor! Woohoo!
