Quote of the year!

This year in true Christmas charity stylee our unit decided to donate money to a worthy cause instead of sending each other cards. The contribution is to be sent to the Samartians and so i contacted them on behalf of the unit to find out where to send the dontation. I have a lovely email in response, and right at the bottom it said:

"Should you or anybody in the Sussex Police Force feel in despair or suicidal, we are here to listen and give support ..."

Fantastic!!!!!! If only they knew we frequently feel like this at work ... maybe next year we should make a larger donation!!!!

Planes, Trains and The Rocket

A girlie trip to the Science Museum and rather nasty memories of the past ... behold 'The Rocket'! Oh how those memories of Mr Phaseys dull and relentless A-Level history classes about the development of roads, canals and of course the railways during the Industrial Revolution came flooding back!

The memories were soooooo horiffic there was only one solution ....... alcohol and lots of it!!!

In answer

to my last question, kind of. Tea and coffee is beginning to taste a little less like the Devil's poison, well at least coffee is. Im not sure about tea. Anyway, im determined to re-train my tastebuds; its like Lent all over again.
